EU Affordable Energy Action Plan and Clean Industrial Deal : A Step Forward, But What About Financing?

The European Commission’s newly announced Affordable Energy Action Plan and Clean Industrial Deal mark important steps toward addressing Europe's energy and industrial challenges. SEFA welcomes the Affordable Energy Action Plan’s initiatives on completing the Energy Union and ensuring security of supply for price stability and supporting energy efficiency providers which are key elements to making energy more accessible and affordable.  We also support the Clean Industrial Deal, which aims to help manufacturers decarbonize operations and update the public procurement framework for greater efficiency and sustainability. These policy strategies build on the strong foundation of the Green Deal, ensuring citizen protection while enhancing business competitiveness
