The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is preparing an Opinion 'State of the Energy Union: getting prepared for a smooth implementation of energy transition in line with Fit for 55 targets' led by rapporteur Joško KLISOVIĆ (HR/PES) Member of the Assembly City of Zagreb
In this framework, the CoR is organizing a stakeholders' consultation on 25 March 2025 from 14.30 to 16.30 CET.
This event will provide the rapporteur with inputs to support the preparation of the draft opinion and address key challenges in implementing energy legislation and the evolving responsibilities of local and regional authorities. Speeding up the clean energy transition to provide a secure and affordable energy supply stands as a vital milestone for the CoR.
